Deskripsi Pekerjaan

Junior Sous Chef

  • Assist in food preparation and collaborate with executive chef
  • Help in the design, testing, and implementation of the food and drink menu
  • Produce high-quality plates for customers in both design and taste
  • Oversee and supervise kitchen staff
  • Assist with inventory, ordering, supplier relationships, and management of supplies
  • Ensure that food is high quality, and that kitchen is in good, clean, and hygienic condition
  • Keep work and food prep stations clean and comply with food safety standards
  • Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance, menu options, and service levels
  • Maintain the schedule for staff shifts
  • Monitor and maintain the kitchen equipment, and arrange repairs and service as needed

Demi Chef De Partie

  • Managing kitchen inventory effectively
  • Upholding the highest levels of kitchen hygiene and safety
  • Preparing and cooking dishes to the restaurant’s standards.
  • Contributing to menu development
  • Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization
  • Quality control of dishes
  • Supervision and training of junior staff

Commis

  • Monitors kitchen equipment and reports issues to superiors
  • Continually develops culinary knowledge to produce high-quality meals
  • Measures, mixes, and prepares meal ingredients, sauces, and seasonings
  • Washes, chops, and cuts fruit, meat, and vegetable items
  • Assesses inventory and requests resupply when necessary
  • Plates meal items under the demi chef de partie’s supervision
  • Disposes of spoiled items and adheres to sanitation policies

Steward

  • Greeting patrons, and if needed, confirming and taking reservations
  • Escorting guests to tables
  • Answering phone calls and giving basic information on reservations, availability, restaurant hours and services
  • Preparing for guests by cleaning and setting tables
  • Setting up any seasonal decorations, candles, or table cloths
  • Assisting guests by providing menus; keeping menus clean andpresentable
  • Serving water to guests and/or refilling beverage glasses as needed
  • Placing and replacing silverware as needed
  • Delivering beverages from the bartender
  • Stocking wait staff serving stations with napkins, utensils, trays, condiments, and salt and pepper containers
  • Directing guests to restrooms or exits as needed
  • Clearing table as guests complete their meals and preparing tables fornext guests
  • Following and maintaining all sanitation and safety procedures
  • Assists in cleaning, opening/closing tasks, and other duties as needed
  • Additional duties may include assisting kitchen staff with preparing saladsappetizers, or desserts; adding garnishes or decorations to food

Syarat Pekerjaan

Junior Sous Chef

  • High school diploma or above
  • Minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Food hygiene and safety regulations
  • Ability to communicate with customers and other staff members
  • Ability to use kitchen equipments
  • Physically able to be on your feet for long periods of time
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Willing to work late or unsociable hours
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good listening skills, with high levels of attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask

Demi Chef De Partie

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a professional kitchen or related fields
  • Have a culinary diploma is a point plus
  • Leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities
  • Creative and have a passion for culinary innovation
  • Attention to details

Commis

  • High school diploma or equivalent; higher certification in culinary arts is a plus point
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in a similar role
  • Good understanding of food, health, and safety regulations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • ⁠Able to lift heavy items
  • Able to work holidays and weekends

Steward

  • Able to move and clean quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Friendly, polite and courteous to all patrons
  • Patient and helpful when assisting customers
  • Able to quickly write or memorize complex or multiple ordersfor large parties or on the phone
  • Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks
  • Excellent at verbal and written communication
  • Works well and efficiently under pressure
  • High school degree or equivalent; or relevant work experience
  • Able to work nights, weekends, and occasional holidays
  • Physically able to wipe down table tops, chairs, and booths; able to pick up debris from the floor; able to carry heavy stuff; able to push vacuum or mop
  • Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift; able to bend and kneel through shift
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Able to read, write, and perform basic mathematics
  • Eager to learn and grow with restaurant
