• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential locations for coffee shop expansion, considering factors such as demographics, competition, market trends, and customer preferences
• Evaluate potential locations based on our coffee shop’s criteria, including financial viability, market demand, and suitability for our business model
• Develop and maintain relationships with real estate brokers, landlords, and other stakeholders to source potential locations and negotiate favorable lease or purchase terms
• Collaborate with the CBDO and other internal teams to develop and implement a strategic expansion plan, including prioritizing locations, allocating resources, and managing timelines
• Provide recommendations and insights to the CBDO and senior management regarding potential risks, opportunities, and strategies related to coffee shop expansion
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform location selection decisions and overall expansion strategy
• Maintain accurate records of all location research, analysis, and related documentation

• Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience or coursework in business development, market research, strategic planning, or related areas is preferred
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct thorough research, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software/tools
